An
educational tour to Goa was organized for the II M.Com (2021–2023 Batch)
students from April 18 to April 22, 2023. The objective of the tour was to
offer students a blend of leisure, cultural exposure and historical learning
outside the classroom environment.
The
students explored Goa’s vibrant beaches, historic forts, and rich cultural
heritage. They visited popular North Goa beaches such as Calangute, Baga, and
Anjuna, and explored Fort Aguada and Chapora Fort, known for their scenic views
and historical significance. A memorable part of the day was the Mandovi River
cruise, which featured traditional Goan music and dance. They then visited the
serene beaches of South Goa, including Palolem, Agonda, and Colva and explored
the scenic Cabo de Rama Fort. Finally, the students visited the Se Cathedral
and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, highlighting Goa’s
religious and architectural legacy.
The
Goa tour was both enjoyable and educational. The trip was a valuable experience
that fostered friendship, learning and lasting memories.
