Library Rules and Regulations
- Only the staff and students of the college are eligible for membership in the library.
- While entering the library, user should register their names in the gate register.
- Only writing materials can be taken inside the library.
- Use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited.
- ID card is mandatory.
- Strict silence should be observed within the library premises.
- Books will be issued on all working days.
- Don’t misplace the books, while selecting from the shelves.
- Reference books and periodicals are available for reference only in the library.
- Students should produce their ID cards at the circulation section at the time of borrowing/returning the library books.
- Return the borrowed books only at the circulation counter. Do not go inside the stack room with borrowed books.
- The books borrowed from the library should be returned within 15 calendar days, failing which an overdue charge of 25 paise per day will be collected.
- Damage or loss of books on loan should be immediately reported to the librarian.
- Handle books with care. Do not destroy by tearing pages or scribbling. It is a punishable offense.
- The librarian can recall from a borrower any book at any time.
