Inter Collegiate Seminar Report

“Research Ethics in Social Science”

Organized by:  Research and PG Commerce Department.

            Inter- Collegiate Seminar Started with Tamil Thai valthu followed by prayer and welcome song by our college choir. Inter - Collegiate Seminar was inaugurated by lighting our traditional lamp  Kuthu Vilaku by our Correspondent, Principal , Chief guest, Board members and convener.

          Dr. P.V. Lal Wilson Head Research Convener welcomed the gathering. Principal delivered presidential address.  Our Correspondent Mr M.P Jayachandran offered felicitation.  Chief Guest Dr Darling Selvi IQAC,  RUSA Coordinator delivered the Key note address  More than 170 Participants including 34 Research scholars, 15 Faculty members and PG students from 13 Colleges participated in the seminar.

          In the technical session Dr Darling selvi clearly explained the ethics to be followed in social Science Research.  In the Afternoon Session Dr Darling selvi clearly suggested UGC care list journals, impact factor, Scopus index Journals. The inter –Collegiate seminar ended with valedictory function

          I thank the Almighty God for this grand seminar I express my hearty thanks to our correspondent, principal, Board members.  Co-convener  Dr Asitha Brayon and all staff members of UG-PG Departments for their encouraging words, kind Co-operation and support to conduct this inter collegiate Seminar in grand manner.
