An international conference on "
ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS & COMPUTER ENGINEERING" was jointly organised by International Multidisciplinary Research
Foundation (IMRF), Vijayawada and the Research Department of Mathematics,
Nesamony Memorial Christian college,
Marthandam on 19th , 20th
and 21st May 2022.
First Day (19-05-2022)
The conference was began with Tamilthai vazhthu. About 120
participants participated the conference. Chaplain Rev. Mrs. Starie
Prncilal prayed for God’s presence throughout the meeting. Dr. A. Vijayan,
Associate Professor and Head of the Research Department of Mathematics and HoD
of Mathematics (SF), Nesamony Memorial Christian college, Marthandam who was
the organizing Secretary of the program welcomed the gathering.
Presidential address was delivered by our college Principal and our
correspondent felicitated the gathering. The program co-ordinator Dr. M. Lellis
Thivagar, Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, Madurai
Kamarajar University, Madurai delivered a felicitation. Dr. A. Vijayan
was honoured by an award named "IMRF lifetime Achievement Award"
which was presented by Dr. Ratnagar, CEO and President of IMRF, Vijayawada.
Dr. M. Lellis Thivagar
was the resource person for the session, and he gave a talk on " Novelty of Nano Topology".
Topics such as Topology, Approximation space, dominating set, etc. were also
discussed in the session. Dr. Saratha Sathasivam, Professor, School of
Mathematical Sciences, University Sains Malaysia USM, Penang, Malaysia, was the
resource person for the next session. She gave her talk in the online mode on
the topic "Global Dynamics Optimization of Neurosymbolic
Integration". Topics such as mean field theory and neuro network logic
programming were also discussed in the session.
Dr. R. Kala, Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics,
Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, was the resource person for the
final session of the day. She delivered her talk under the topic
"Varieties of Domination Parameter". She began her talk with a quiz
question related to the Abel Prize and made the session more interactive.
Later, papers were presented on various topics by students and professors from
various colleges through offline mode. Mrs. J. Beautlin Jemi, Assistant
Professor, Department of Mathematics (SF), delivered a vote of thanks and the
day ended with the National Anthem.
Second day (20-05-2022)
Dr. G. Mahadevan, Associate Professor, Department of
Mathematics, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindugal, was the resource person for
the first session. He gave a talk on "Some interesting Applications of
Domination in Graphs", and his talk gave an idea for solving real life
problems using Graph Theory. Dr. Chintasinjala Venkateswara Rao, Professor,
Department of General Studies, Jubail Industrial College, Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, was the resource person for the final session. He gave a talk on the topic
"Estimation of Transition Temperature Tc
for a Closed MgB2 Superconductor by Empirical Models
". Participants presented papers in an online mode. After the
conclusion of the paper presentation, a valedictory function was held. Dr. A.
Vijayan welcomed the gathering. Dr. M.
Lellis Thivagar delivered a felicitation followed by a valediction address by
Dr. Ratnagar. Certificates were distributed to the participants of the paper
presentation by Dr. Ratnagar. Dr. A. Pramila Inpa Rose, Associate Professor,
Department of Mathematics, delivered a vote of thanks and the programme ended
with the National Anthem.
Third Day (21-05-2022)
The conference concluded with a field visit.
