The programme commenced with a Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by a welcome address by Dr S. Ramola Ponmalar, Head of the Department of Commerce. The resource person Miss. Abinaya D.R, Senior SAP Specialist, E-MAX, Marthandam from Emax, Marthandam, explained the basics of SAP, the evolution of ERP, different modules of SAP, especially SAP FICO relevant to commerce students, and its application in finance, accounting, inventory and business decision-making. The session included a live demo and interactive discussion on career pathways, certification and placement opportunities in SAP. More than 200 students from UG Commerce participated actively and clarified their doubts during the Q&A session. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by III B.Com Student Miss Joselin Shehi and the program concluded with the National Anthem.
