Under the self finance scheme the P.G Zoology course was started in the year 1992. The main objective is to cater to the overall development of the rural students.  Many students come from poor socio-economic backgrounds.  The college is surrounded by villages without proper roads or bus facilities.  so, most of them have to walk a long way to catch the bus.  But since the establishment of this department the long-felt need of the rural students to pursue their higher studies has become a reality.  Now the department is striving hard to help have a positive attitude in our students and enable then to become  valuable assets of the society.
