A study trip cum field visit was arranged for the III B.Sc Botany students on 13/2/2026, Friday. The areas of study covered is Mangrove forests in and around Kollam. Dr.N.Maybel Starlin (HoD) and Dr.S.Jayakumar (Association Vice president), accompanied the students. The trip was meaningful, enjoyable and was igniting the knowledge of students. They studied the habitat, morphology and adaptations of Mangrove plants.
