Final Report:
The Department of Botany has a Career Oriented
Certificate Course “Herbal Science” for II B. Sc. Botany students. With the aim
to aid the students acquire basic knowledge of herbal wealth and their economic
importance, the department has organized a study tour to Tropical Botanical
Garden and Research Institute, Palode, Kerala. A total of 40 students (35 girls
and 5 boys) have participated the study tour. Three staff members, Dr. G.
Johnsi Christobel, Dr. S. Jaya Kumar and Dr. P. Subitha were accompanied the
students.
