The Charity Club of the Department of Physics, Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam, organized an extension activity at the C.S.I. Transitional Resource Centre for the Differently Abled, Alencode, on 23 September 2026, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. The programme was organized with the active participation of final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, along with faculty members. A total of 50 participants took part in the activity. The visit provided an opportunity for the students to interact with the differentlyabled children and spend meaningful time with them. As part of the programme, the students shared lunch with the children and engaged in friendly interactions, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. The activity aimed to promote compassion, social responsibility, empathy, and the spirit of selfless service among students. It also provided them with a valuable opportunity to understand the importance of extending care and support to the differentlyabled community. The programme was a meaningful extension activity of the Charity Club, encouraging students to contribute positively to society through service and social outreach.
