To extend a warm welcome to the newly admitted first-year PG students, the Department of Physics organized a Freshers' Day programme on 21^st July 2026 at 1:40 PM in the Physics Seminar Hall. The programme began with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address. The Head of the Department, Dr. D. Arul Dhas, delivered an inspiring motivational speech, encouraging the students to excel in academics and make the most of their college life. The event featured lively dance performance and songs, creating an enjoyable and interactive atmosphere for the freshers. Fun-filled games and interactive activities were also organized, allowing the freshers to participate enthusiastically, interact with their seniors, and build new friendships in a joyful environment. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a total of 53 participants attended the programme, making it a memorable and successful celebration.
