SCINOVA: Igniting Minds
Quiz Competition and Essay Writing Competition
In celebration of National Science
Day, the event SCINOVA: Igniting Minds was successfully organized on 26th
February 2026 from 2:45 to 4:00 pm. The programme was conducted by the
Competition Committee, Department of Physics, with the objective of fostering
scientific curiosity, analytical thinking, and creativity among students. The
Quiz Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from both undergraduate and
postgraduate physics students. A total of 13 teams, with three members in each team,
participated in the quiz competition. The Essay Writing
Competition was conducted on the topic “Role
of Science in Nation Building,” and it witnessed the active
participation of 12 students.
More than 50 students actively participated in the competition, reflecting the
enthusiasm and spirit of the students.
