The Department of Physics organized an invited talk on “The Evolving Nano World: Fundamental Science and Next Generation Technologies” on 9^th December 2025 at 11.00 a.m. in the Physics Seminar Hall. The talk was delivered by Dr. N. Ponpandian, Professor, Department of Nanoscience and Technology, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The programme was attended by PG Aided and Self-Financing students. Dr. N. Ponpandian highlighted the fundamentals of nanoscience, recent advancements in nano-scale research, and next-generation techniques used in modern technology. The session provided valuable insights into current research trends and applications of nanotechnology. The talk was interactive and informative, enabling students to gain exposure to emerging areas in nanoscience and inspiring interest in advanced research.
