An awareness program “Healthy Horizons “ was organized by the program committee,  department of Physics on September 8^th 2025, at 1.40 pm in Seminar Hall II. The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed chief guest Dr. R.S. Sujin Herbert, Assistant Medical Officer, Yoga and Naturopathy, Government Headquarters Hospital, Padmanabhapuram. Head of the department Dr. D. Aruldhas gave the presidential address and introduced the chief guest. The chief guest in his talk, focussed on nutrition, hygiene, exercise and motivated the students to maintain healthy lifestyle habits, disease prevention and mental well-being. This awareness program highlighted the importance of health in daily life and was an eye opener for the 165 participants including staff and students. Finally prizes and certificates was distributed to the winners of various competitions organized by the department competition committee.
