Department of Physics conducted Fusion Fiesta (Fresher’s Day) as a sign of uniting the young physicist to the post graduate family.  The gathering started around 1:40 pm on 08 August 2025 at Seminar Hall – II with staff and students.  The event commenced with a soulful prayer song performed by Jenisha C and team, followed by a warm welcome address by Angelin Babitha B.  Dr. D. Arul Dhas, Head of the Department, gave the presidential address and stated that the students who got the opportunity to study in this college are blessed and                    advised to use this opportunity in a useful manner.  Following the address, a melodious song was presented by Jenifer Greena.  Dr. S.C. Jeyakumar, Associate Professor expressed that the staff members are friendly with the students and explained the importance of online learning. 

To make the gathering interesting, games were conducted by Jeslin J Linshiya and Simona C S. The fresher’s enjoyed the games and participated with enthusiasm.  The fresher’s introduced themselves to every one and performed individual tasks given to  them.  The gathering ended with the National Anthem, leaving the attendees with a sense of pride and unity.  The PG Fresher’s Day was a grand success, offering a memorable event to the juniors, seniors and staff.
