Final Report:
The PG Association Inauguration meeting was held
on 11-11-2022 from 2 pm – 3.30 pm in the Physics Seminar Hall. Dr. L. Padmaja,
HOD of Physics (SF) presided over the function. Students and staff from both
aided and self finance stream participated in the meeting. The meeting started
with a prayer song by II M.Sc Physics students. Evangelin Ann Berries of II
M.Sc Physics welcomed the gathering. Dr. L. Padmaja, delivered the presidential
address. She advised the students to use the facilities provided in the department
to shine in their academics and in their career. Dr. D. Aruldhas, Associate
Professor, Department of Physics, introduced the Chief Guest alumnus Er. Vibin
Kumar Selvanayagam, founder and president of online Non Destructive Testing
Studies (NDT). He shared important information about the NDT studies and also
motivated the students to achieve a higher position in their career. Since
November 11th is celebrated as National Education Day, Farzana
Fathima of II M.Sc Physics gave a talk about the importance of Education.
Students of II M.Sc (Aided and SF) performed cultural activities. John Jeheena
of II M.Sc thanked everyone and the meeting ended with National Anthem.
