Final Report:
The Department of Physics and Research centre
and IQAC, organized a National Webinar on "Magnetic Smart Materials"
on 17-06-2021 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The resource person was Dr.M.
Mahendran, Professor & Head, Department of Physics, Thiagarajar College of
Engineering, Madurai. The meeting was arranged in zoom platform. More than 200
members (students & professors) participated in the webinar. Dr. R. Sheela
Christy, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Physics welcomed the
gathering. Our Principal, Dr. K. Paul Raj presided over the webinar by giving
the Presidential Address. Our Correspondent, Adv. L. Rajathurai felicitated the
gathering. Dr. D. Arul Dhas, Associate Professor in Physics introduced the
Chief Guest. Dr. M. Mahendran gave the talk on “Magnetic Smart Materials” in a
manner in which all the audience could understand easily. Dr. R. Racil Jeya Geetha (Convener),
Assistant Professor in Physics gave the Vote of Thanks. Dr. S. Tibi Thomas, IQAC
coordinator and Assistant Professor in English coordinated and gave full
support for the webinar. Dr. A. S.
Jebamalar (Co-Convener), Assistant Professor in Physics did all the
arrangements for certificate distribution.
