The physics department has organized P.G. Association
Meeting on 13.02.2020 at P.G Lab from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. The association
meeting started with a prayer song. Dr. S. Arumugam, Head of the Physics
Department (Rtd) Gandhigram Rural Institute was the chief guest. Dr. R. Sheela
Christy, Head of the department gave the presidential address. She gave some
information about the achievements of the chief guest in the field of Solar
Science and studies.
The chief guest shared some of his past
experiences, achievements and his academic results. He gave some idea about how
to apply Physics in our daily life. He gave a brief presentation on Solar
Physics and about the summer camp projects. Then vote of thanks was delivered
by Afra of I M.Sc. Physics. Dr. R.
Sheela Christy honored the chief guest with a momento. The meeting came to an
end with the National Anthem.
