The UG Association Meeting was held on 18^th July 2025 at 1.45 p.m., commencing with a prayer song by Jessica of II B.Sc. The meeting began with a warm welcome address by Jenila of III B.Sc. Dr. D. Arul Dhas, the respected HOD, delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of academic excellence and holistic development during student’s time at the institution. He motivated the students to utilize every opportunity provided by the college to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge.

        The highlight of the meeting was the chief guest Mr. Rajendran T, an alumnus of the department was introduced by Adshaya of III B.Sc. Mr. Rajendran, shared his insights on ‘Instrumentation’. He explained important physics concepts such as the See beck effect, Archimedes’ principle, and Poiseuille law in a simple and understandable manner. He also spoke about his work experience in Abu Dhabi, where he worked in the oil and gas industry. His talk was highly informative and motivated the students to understand the practical applications of physics and instrumentation in real-life industries.

        The meeting also featured cultural programs, which included a group song by Abina and team, a classical dance performed by Anubama, a group song by Princy and team, a quiz conducted by Sooriya, a solo song by Sandra, and a solo dance by Vaishak. All the performances were mesmerizing and showcased the talents of the students.

        The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Aksha of II B.Sc. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest Mr. Rajendran for his informative and inspiring speech, and thanked the Head of the Department, faculty members and students for their continuous support and encouragement.
